How do I connect my XOGO Mini 2 to a different Wi-Fi network?

Important: These instructions apply to the XOGO Mini 2 only. This does NOT apply to Mini 1 (metal case) or Mini 2b.

Identifying Your Device:

  • Mini 2: Black screen with roller bar on bootup

  • Mini 2b: White screen with large XOGO logo on boot

What You'll Need:

  • USB keyboard

  • Personal device (phone, tablet, or computer)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Reboot the Device

  1. Connect a USB keyboard to the Mini 2

  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+R to reboot

  3. If the device doesn't reboot, reconnect the keyboard or try a different keyboard

Step 2: Activate XOGO Hotspot

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+H to activate the XOGO hotspot

  2. The hotspot will start initializing

Step 3: Connect to XOGO Hotspot

  1. On your personal device (phone, tablet, or computer), connect to the XOGO hotspot

  2. Hotspot name: XOGO

  3. Password: xogoplayer

  4. Note: The hotspot may reject the password a couple of times while services start up - keep trying

Step 4: Configure Wi-Fi Settings

  1. Open a web browser on your connected device

  2. Enter your new Wi-Fi network settings

  3. Push the settings to the Mini 2

Step 5: Complete Setup

  1. Unplug the USB keyboard

  2. The Mini 2 will connect to your new Wi-Fi network

  3. Use XOGO Manager to manage the device

Troubleshooting:

  • Keyboard not responding: Try reconnecting the keyboard or use a different USB keyboard

  • Hotspot password rejected: Wait a few seconds and try again - services may still be starting

  • Cannot access configuration page: Verify you're connected to the XOGO hotspot and using the correct URL
