XOGO Manager offers two scheduling methods to help you manage when and how your content displays.
Method 1: Advanced Scheduling
Advanced Scheduling allows you to control when specific items within a playlist are allowed to play.
How to Use:
Click inside any playlist
Click the blue "Schedule" button
Set the days and times for each item to display
Example Use Case - Restaurant:
Breakfast menu: Display until noon daily
Lunch menu: Display from noon to 6pm
Dinner menu: Display from 6pm onwards
Brunch menu: Display all day on Saturdays
Note: Scheduling gaps are indicated in the UI by a triangular alert icon on the playlist.
Method 2: Playlist Planner
Playlist Planner allows you to schedule when players switch between different playlists on specific calendar dates.
How It Works:
Each XOGO Player runs one playlist at a time, but you can schedule playlist changes for specific dates.
Example Use Case - Retail Store:
Default playlist: Runs until late August
Back-to-school playlist: Activates in late August
Christmas playlist: Activates on December 1st
Understanding the Difference:
Advanced Scheduling (Micro Level): Schedule individual content items within a single playlist based on time of day
Playlist Planner (Macro Level): Schedule entire playlist changes based on calendar dates
