If you have a mix of screen types or locations — like vertical and horizontal displays — that need different content on the same days, you don't need to manually swap playlists. You can assign a separate Planner to each group of screens.
Steps:
Create a Planner for each group of screens that needs its own schedule (e.g. one for vertical screens, one for horizontal screens).
Go to Players, select a player, and open Edit Player.
Under Associated Playlist, search for and select the Planner you want that player to follow.
Repeat for each player, assigning the correct Planner to each screen group.
Each screen will now follow its own Planner independently, so you can schedule different content per day for each group without manual swaps.
Notes:
Assignment is per player: the Associated Playlist field on each player can point to either a single playlist or a Planner — this is what lets different screens run different schedules.
Time-of-day control still works within each Planner's playlists: if you also need specific assets to play at specific times of day, use playlist scheduling within the playlists your Planner references.
