How do i fix a Payment failed error, but not renew licenses?

This article provides guidance for customers who have experienced a payment failure due to an expired or invalid payment method and have elected not to renew their XOGO license subscription.

Applicable Scenario

This procedure applies when:

  • A payment transaction has failed due to an expired, invalid, or declined payment method

  • You have received an automated payment failure notification

  • You have decided to discontinue your XOGO license subscription

Critical Information: Payment Method Update Restrictions

Please note: Updating your payment card information within the Billing section will trigger an immediate payment processing attempt and automatic license renewal.

To ensure your subscription expires as intended, do not update or add new payment method details in the system.

License Expiration Process

When no action is taken following a payment failure:

  1. Active Period: Your existing licenses will continue to operate with full functionality through the remainder of your current billing cycle

  2. Automatic Expiration: Upon conclusion of the billing period, all associated licenses will expire without renewal

  3. No Financial Obligation: No charges will be processed

  4. Zero Action Required: The expiration process is fully automated and requires no further intervention

Service Timeline

  • Current Billing Period: Uninterrupted access to XOGO platform features and functionality

  • Billing Period Conclusion: Automatic license expiration without renewal

  • Post-Expiration: Service access will be terminated in accordance with license terms

Future Reactivation Options

Should you wish to reinstate your XOGO license at a future date, you may access the Billing section at any time to update your payment information and reactivate your subscription.
